Describe yourself in five words: More than meets the eye

What kind of music do you like?: My musical palate is wide and varied. To satisfy my hunger a massive salad of sound is required. All styles of House music, Jazz, Rock, Indie, Old Skool Hip Hop, Soul and Ska.

What makes you laugh? : A combination of vocal chord movement then opening my mouth. However i can suppress it and the produced sound comes out of my nose. Try it yourself.

What can you cook?: Well apart from the books (obviously) i'm pretty talented in the culinary department. All those years of making edible meals out of army rations had to rub off somewhere.

What do you do on Saturday night?: If i'm not spinning the wheels of steel somewhere, then i'm chilling with friends taking in a movie or doing something other than else.

Where's your favourite place in the World?: Tough one that. Recently it was 30 metres down in the Cyprus sea. On the hotlist though...New York, Zante, San Francisco, Austria, Florida, Egypt and anywhere skiing.

What do you spend too much money on?: It used to be Budweiser but those days are behind me now. Rare film props and bit and bobs like that.

What are your favourite films?: Not a big enough page for this! In no particular order...Airplane, Apocalypse now, Heat, Shawshank Redemption, Usual Suspects, Alien etc etc etc.

Are you a morning or night person?: My nights often run into the morning. Being a brekky show host and DJ i have to be both!

What websites do you look at when you go online?: Ha ha, ummm there are a few you can't list here. collectspace.com, annanova.com, boreme.com and iandore.co.uk to make sure its still working.

What's your favourite room in your house?: The dining room. It's very big, warm, airy, full of fond memories and interesting to look at.

Which TV shows do you enjoy?: American Dad, The Simpsons, Green Wing, Midsomer Murders (oh yes!) Lots of Discovery and History channel (i went to Ryde High so i'm catching up now) The Twilight Zone, Sherlock Holmes (classic black and whites)

What hobbies/interests/obsessions do you have?: I'm a PADI diver, i do a martial art called San Shan Gong, biking, swimming and bedroom trampolining. I represented the UK at that for 7 years. Trying to write 3 books but it's just not happening because it turns out i'm not very good at it, chasing Astronauts around the world for interviews.

Do you have any pets?: Yep i have a cat.

What annoys you?: Filling in pages like this. Liers, cheats, lack of respect, no manners, excessive body hair, people trying to blow people up, British Forces in Iraq..... (he went on! this is the short version!)

What are you not very good at?: Spelling the word now and know. I always get them confused. That and hovering above the ground, haven't got it mastered yet.

If you weren't on the radio what would you do?: I'd still be serving with Her Majesty's finest or with some sneaky beaky outfit in civvy street. Maybe a diving instructor though. The weather is better and its a much healthier lifestyle.
